Backs

Matthew Suckling got plenty of the ball and was extremely efficient with his use of the footy. Harris Andrews helped curtail the influence of Tigers forward, Tom Lynch, Lynch kicked just one goal. James Sicily was one the Hawks best performers in their upset victory over the Eagles. Conor McKenna provided a lot of run out of defence for the Bombers. Nick Vlastuin and Bachar Houli played a pivotal role in the Tigers cementing a place in the top 4.

Midfielders

Andrew Gaff was a shinning light for the Eagles, in their loss to the Hawks. Patrick Dangerfield had an outstanding game, Dangerfield kicked 4 goals. Jared Polec was a pivotal part of the Kangaroos narrowly defeating the Demons.

Forwards

Bailey Dale played an outstanding game for the Bulldogs, against the Crows. Tim O’Brien kicked 4 goals, against the Eagles, O’Brien proved that he is in the Hawks best 22. Kane Lambert kicked a couple of goals for the Tigers. Anthony Mcdonald-Tipungwuti was one of the Bombers top performers in their narrow loss to the Magpies. Jeremy Cameron won the Coleman Medal, Cameron kicked 9 goals against the Suns. Jamie Elliott kicked 3 goals for the Magpies, playing a key role for them, in the forward pocket.

Followers

Brodie Grundy was in a class of his own, Grundy was clearly best on ground in the Magpies victory over the Bombers. Lachie Neale amassed 51 possessions; Neale was probably the best player on the field in the Lions game against the Tigers. Jack Macrae displayed why he is such a quality player.

Interchange

Max Gawn kicked 3 goals, pushing forward to show that he has another dimension to his game, besides his tap work in the ruck. Shaun Higgins was pivotal in the Kangaroos narrow win against the Demons. Quinton Narkle showed that he is capable of being a permanent part of the Cats best 22. Josh Kelly displayed why he is such a n important player for the Giants, with a quality performance.
