 Backs

Brayden Maynard showed that he is one of the more underrated defenders in the competition. Sam Frost played one of the better 12 possession games as he had a significant impact in key moments to help the Demons get over the line. Hayden Crozier showed that it was the right move to bring him to the Bulldogs as he is a good user of the footy using the ball at 96.4% efficiency. Jack Crisp displayed why he is one of the best half back flankers in the competition. Darcy Moore did a good job to take a total of 7 marks. Caleb Daniel was one of the Bulldogs better players accumulating 36 possessions.

Midfielders

Michael Hibberd embraced his new role of playing on a wing. Shaun Higgins showed that he is possibly the Kangaroos most important player as he makes them a better team. Hugh McCluggage is an integral cog in the Lions team.

Forwards

Cameron Ellis-Yolmen was one of the Crows more pivotal players against the Dockers. Marcus Bontempelli kicked 3 goals showing his value to the Bulldogs team. Tom Papley kicked 4 goals that helped keep the Swans competitive against the Lions. Gary Ablett kicked 2 goals for the Cats in a win over the Bombers. Jeremy Cameron was outstanding for the Giants. Jaidyn Stephenson kicked 3 pivotal goals for the Magpies in the first quarter.

Followers

Jarrod Witts won a total of 60 hit outs which was double that of Nathan Vardy. Josh Dunkley showed that he is one of the more underrated players in the AFL. Brad Crouch displayed why he is one of the Crows better players.

Interchange

Aaron Naughton kicked 5 goals to show he could have a future in the Bulldogs forward line. Tom Langdon was one of the Magpies better players against the Power. Ben Cunnington displayed why he is a chance to feature in the All Australian team this season. James Harmes was the Demons best player against the Hawks, tagging Jaeger O’Meara after quarter time and winning plenty of the ball himself.
