FB: Alex Rance (Captain)- Has had his most consistent year. The leadership role has clearly benefited him.
FB: Michael Hurley- Been utilized as a key defender. Has been pivotal in the Bombers having reached the top eight.
FB: Neville Jetta- Has been instrumental in the improvement of the Demons in season 2017. Normally up against the opposition’s crumbing forward.
HB: Rory Laird- Exceptional player who helped Adelaide claim a top four birth. Incredibly averaged numbers that a midfielder would be content with.
HB: Jeremy Mcgovern- Key pillar in the defensive structure for the Eagles.
HB: Michael Hibberd- Despite having only managed eighteen games, he made a massive impact. Often efficient with his ball use, created run out of the back half.
M: Josh Kelly- A humble champion. Should be in the mix for the Brownlow Medal. Hasn’t let contract talks impact on his performance.
M: Tom Mitchell- A ball magnet. Often had over thirty possessions. The recruit of the year.
M: Zach Merrett- Would have been in calculations for the Brownlow Medal top ten finish if he hadn’t been suspended.
HF: Robbie Gray- A proven match winner. Showed his worth as a forward; kicked some crucial goals for the Power.
HF: Lance Franklin- Still managed to win the Coleman Medal despite playing his role for the team as a centre half forward.
HF: Dustin Martin- A no brainer. The favourite to win the Brownlow Medal. Looked dangerous playing forward.
FF: Eddie Betts- Capable of the with regards to kicking freakish goals. Unanimously known for his impact as a forward pocket.
FF: Josh J. Kennedy- The Eagles are still in the hunt for the Premiership, because of his role as the key forward.
FF: Marcus Bontempelli- Similarly to Dustin Martin and Robbie Gray capable of kicking opportunistic goals.
R: Paddy Ryder- Had performed brilliantly as the dominant ruckman for the power.
R: Patrick Dangerfield (Vice Captain)- Would have been in with a chance of winning the Brownlow Medal if he wasn’t suspended.
R: Rory Sloane- A key part of the Crows midfield.
B: Matt Crouch- Does his job for the team every week, consistently racked up numbers possession wise in the thirty’s.
B: Joe Daniher- Capable of playing the role as a backup ruckman. His role as the number one forward has been imperative in the Bombers chance to feature in September.
B: Sam Docherty- One of the reasons why the Blues were competitive for the most part of season 2017.
B: Adam Treloar- Helped the Magpies be competitive.
