Round 4 Team of the Week

Goal Keeper– Eugene Galekovic (City)- Wasn’t kept that busy, but did everything that was asked of him.

Left Back– Ivan Vujica (Jets)- Like Josh Risdon provided an option going forward and never took a backward step.

Left Centre Back– Iacopo La Rocca (City)- Never stopped working hard. Put in a fantastic shift that helped City claim three points in a physical derby.

Right Centre Back– Bert Schenkeveld (City) Showed why he could possibly be regarded as the best defender in the A-League.

Right Back– Josh Risdon (WSW)- Was responsible for many forays forward.

Left Centre Midfield– Matthew Ridenton (Phoenix)- Could be one of the most underrated players in the League.

Right Centre Midfield– Josh Brillante- His exquisite skill was on show once again. Can consider himself unlucky to miss out on the thirty man Socceroo squad.

Left Wing– Fahid Ben Khalfallah (Roar)- Was the standout. Could be the reason why the Roar got something out of the game.

Right Wing– Connor Pain (Mariners)- Showed sublime skill. Was a joy to watch; worth the price of admission. Provided the goal for the Mariners only goal of the game. Was unlucky not to have a brace when he hit the bar.

Left Sided Striker– Leroy George (Victory)- Provided the all-important equalizer with a cracking free kick. Played out of position, because of the loss of Berisha through suspension.

Right Sided Striker– Ross Mccormack (City)- Scored a brace. Scored from the penalty spot and scored a second from a bullet of a free kick.
