A-League Preview (Mar 2-4, 2018)

Preview- Mar 2-4, 2018 (Hyundai A-League)

This week end promises to be an entertaining and attacking weekend of football. Last week end there was at least one goal scored in every game of football being played. Hopefully the high scoring games played last weekend is a positive trend. All four games are relatively intriguing as every match has a bearing on the make up of the top six.

City v Victory Preview

It’s third against fourth in this clash. Both coaches would want to collect the three points on offer, with both teams eager to cement their place in the top four. Hopefully, it is an attacking game of football. I hope Warren Joyce throws caution to the wind and looks to score some goals this week. City looked stagnant in my opinion, after they went up one-nil against the Perth Glory last week and threw away the three points on offer.

City Game Changer: Daniel Arzani

Victory Game Changer: Leroy George

My Prediction: Victory

Jets v Sky Blues Preview

The top of the table clash promises to be an exciting one. Both teams have cemented themselves in the top six, with the Sky Blues all but assured of being top of the table and the Jets having an eight point lead, ahead of City, its nearest rivals.

Jets Game Changers: Jack Duncan

Sky Blues Game Changer: Josh Brillante

My Prediction: Jets

Roar v Reds Preview

It’s seventh against fifth on the A-League table in this one. The Roar need to take the three points on offer in order to ensure that they stay in touch with the top six, while the Reds will be looking to finish in the top four.

Roar Game Changer: Jack Hingert

Reds Game Changer: George Blackwood

My Prediction: Reds

Wanderers v Glory Preview

It’s sixth against eighth, but there is only four points separating the two teams on the A-League table. If the Glory are to have any hope of making the top six, then it rests on them collecting the three points on offer in this clash.

Wanderers Game Changer: Josh Risdon

Glory Game Changer: Joseph Mills

My Prediction: Wanderers
