Round Fifteen Preview (Hyundai A-League)
It’s a feast of football with five games played over three days during this week. Hopefully, the quality of football played won’t suffer with the limited squad numbers and salary cap in the A-League. Following a round of football being played where there was at least two goals per game, we can only hope for more attacking football.
Roar v Sky Blues Preview
The Roar are coming off a disappointing performance against the Wanderers. The Sky Blues have lost just one game all Season. This game is a danger game for the Sky Blues with Suncorp Stadium a tough place to come to.
Roar Game Changer: Jamie Young
Sky Blues Game Changer: Josh Brillante
My Prediction: Roar
Jets v Mariners Preview
The Jets depth will be tested with as many as six players missing from their team last round against league leaders the Sky Blues. The Jets have scored the second most goals in the A-League all Season, while the Mariners have scored the least amount of goals.
Jets Game Changer: Dimitri Petratos
Mariners Game Changer: Antony Golec
My Prediction: Jets
Glory v City Preview
The Glory have conceded nine goals in the last two games. They have conceded the most amount of goals in the A-League this Season. City sits in third place without having played their best football. This should be a difficult game to predict.
Glory Game Changer: Jeremy Walker
City Game Changer: Nathaniel Atkinson
My Prediction: City
Phoenix v Victory Preview
The Phoenix played some good football against City, without enough end product. If they can replicate their performance of the previous round, then this should be a fascinating encounter.
Phoenix Game Changer: Matthew Ridenton
Victory Game Changer: James Troisi
My Prediction: Phoenix
Wanderers v Reds Preview
Both teams are coming off a win. It’s the sixth place Wanderers against the sixth place Reds.
Wanderers Game Changer: Mark Bridge
Reds Game Changer: Daniel Margush
My Prediction: Reds
