Round 10 Review (Hyundai A-League)

This Round had everything from a nil-nil draw between the Roar and the Phoenix to a five-nil game in the derby. There were twelve goals in the five games. The crowd attendances varied from just over five thousand to over thirty-six thousand in the derby. In two of the five games played the best player on the field in my opinion was the Goal Keeper. Round Ten of the A-League promises to be an intriguing one. Remarkably all five games are made up of two evenly matched teams, irrespective of their position on the ladder. In a surprise for many England won the toss and decided that they would have a bowl first; Adelaide Oval is renowned as being a pitch that is batsmen friendly. England made one change to their line up with Overtan replacing Ball, while Australia were unchanged. Australia would look to keep the momentum up with the opportunity to bat first a good one.
