Red Devils Lucky Escape

Red Devils v Spurs Review

Pre Match Analysis– Would the Red Devils follow on from their below par performance last week with another disappointing showing? Or would they redeem themselves? Specifically the past two results were unacceptable. Remarkably they are now in second place on the premier league ladder. The fans would expect in response with only one point from the last six points. They would be pleased to see Rashford in the starting line up, who is an exceptional talent. The ‘Special One’ would continue utilizing two attacking wing backs in Valencia on the right side and Young on the left side. Would they take advantage of a Spurs side playing without Kane?

Half Time Analysis– The game remained at nil nil at half time with the Red Devils failing to take advantage of a Spurs side without their injured striker. Would it be a third straight game without a win? On top of that they have failed to score in their past two games. Only time would tell if they could rectify their poor results.

Full Time Analysis– Mourinho’s gamble of taking Rashford off paid dividends! Martial helped the ‘Special One’ get out of jail. They took advantage of a Spurs side missing their star striker. On paper Spurs are far less a daunting prospect without Kane. The Red Devils stay within five points of the star studded City. They are still within striking distance as anything less than six points would be seen as an assailable lead.
