My Australian One Day Team v India

-David Warner (Captain)- Showed his class in the second test against Bangladesh. Deserves to captain the side.

-Matthew Wade (Vice Captain)- Will benefit from batting up the order, should be given the opportunity to spend more time at the crease. Just needs a bit of confidence from a good innings to become a reliable batsman.

-Peter Handscomb (wk)- A good batsman, deserves to spend more time at the crease to utilize his solid technique.

-Travis Head – Is suited perfectly to batting number four, will need to spend time at the crease for his big hitting to become a factor. A useful part time bowler as well.

-Steven Smith-It will take the pressure off him batting in the middle order. His role would be to rotate the strike to the likes of big hitters Maxwell and Faulkner. Also, he will have more of an impact as a batsman in my opinion if he relinquishes the captaincy to Warner.

- James Faulkner- A genuine allrounder in the one day format of the game. A proven matchwinner. Nicknamed “the finisher” for his role at the end of an innings with bat and ball. Should bat in the middle order and bowl ten overs in order to maximise his impact.

-Ashton Agar- A handy batsman. The more time he spends at the crease the less pressure there will be on his bowling.

-Glenn Maxwell- Deserves to bowl more overs as he is a useful bowler in the one day format of the game.

-Marcus Stoinis- Will add depth to the batting order, a useful bowler as well.

-Patrick Cummins- A good bowler to have in the shorter version of the game. He broke onto the scene playing 20/20 cricket.

-Adam Zampa- A useful leg spin bowler.
