  • In his Youth career he played for Atlético Madrid.
  • During his Senior career he played for Atlético Madrid, Liverpool and Chelsea. He was then loaned out to AC Milan who he eventually signed for. After that he was loaned out to Atlético Madrid who he joined again.
  • He retired on June 21st, 2019 when he was playing for Sagan Tosu.
