Magpies v Demons My Preview
The Magpies have been extremely competitive in the past month. Collingwood’s board are yet to decide the fate of coach Nathan Buckley. On the one hand, the pies have an extremely talented midfield, but on the other they may be lacking a key forward, with the recruitment of Chris Mayne seemingly a failure and Darcy Moore still young and learning his craft. Lions v Roos My Preview
Brisbane’s ladder position isn’t reflective of their improvement and performance throughout the season. They have progressed steadily. This can be substantiated by the amount of young players they have blooded; Mccluggage, Barrett and Hipwood just to name a few. Lewis Taylor has also been a solid contributor. Dayne Beams has been an exceptional leader; he has been symptomatic of the Lions progression as he has also become along with Dayne Zorko and Tom Rockliff, a goal kicking midfielder. Swans v Blues My Preview
The Swans have an intriguing finish to the season with the slight possibility of finishing in the top four and obtaining the converted double chance. It has been a strange season for the Swans with them starting with six successive losses. It is remarkable that the Swans are now in calculations for a top four spot.
