Backs: David Astbury was a pivotal part of the Tigers structure holding up against the Swans. Tom Doedee played a solid game for the Crows. Brendon Goddard managed to collect over twenty disposals, despite starting in defence for the Bombers. Jayden Short managed to accumulate twenty possessions and hit the scoreboard on two occasions. Steven May had season high twenty-five disposals and fourteen marks. Adam Saad provided a lot of run and dash out of defence for the Bombers, taking the game on.
Midfielders: Dion Prestia exceeded expectations in his first game back from injury. Touk Miller had over thirty touches for the first time this season. Marc Murphy was instrumental in the Blues being competitive in his outing following a long lay off due to injury.
Forwards: Bailey Williams managed to kick two goals for the second week in a row. Despite starting as a key forward for the Bulldogs, Billy Gowers accumulated nearly twenty possessions and managed to kick two goals. Jack Trengove surpassed his potential output with twenty-one disposals in his first game in a long time. Josh Thomas bounced back from his worst performance in round fourteen with a season high four goals. weekend. Luke Breust managed to kick three goals in a losing Hawks outfit.
Followers: Tom Boyd played his best game from a possessions perspective for the season with seventeen and equal best impact from a hit out point of view with thirty-one. Interchange: Josh Schache made every possession count playing an important role for the Bulldogs as a key forward target. Dan Houston was one of the better players in a Power outfit that didn’t play to their potential. Rory Lobb kicked a season best three goals in his first game following injury. Jack Higgins played his role for the Tigers on Thursday night collecting season high twenty disposals.
