Average Score: 92.72 points per team, which is understandable, because nine out of 18 teams scored over 100 points.
Average Winning Margin: 29.67 per game, due to four out of nine games had a margin of over than 40 points.

Points of Interest

Michael Voss (Carlton) coached his 100th AFL game for the club. He became the tenth person to coach a century of VFL/AFL games for Carlton.

Nick Daicos (Collingwood) played his 100th AFL game and was a standout.

Despite winning, Collingwood have gone 15 consecutive games without scoring 100 points or more.

Marc Blicavs (Geelong Cats) played his 300th AFL game. while Jake Kolodjashnij played his 200th AFL game and the latter kicked a memorable goal in the fourth quarter, against Western Bulldogs.

Jeremy Cameron (Geelong Cats) kicked seven goals in the first half, with his seventh goal his 750th and finished with ten goals against Western Bulldogs.

Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge had his biggest deficit at half time with; Geelong Cats led by 57 points.

Leek Aleer (GWS Giants) kicked his first goal of his AFL career in the fourth quarter against Sydney Swans.

Sullivan Robey (Essendon) kicked his first goal in the AFL, in the third quarter against Gold Coast Suns.

Karl Amon (Hawthorn) played his 200th AFL game and Cam MacKenzie played his 50th AFL game.

Mitch Georgiades (Port Adelaide) has kicked at least one goal in his last 28 games.

William McCabe (Hawthorn) kicked an unbelievable goal from outside 50 on a tough angle, midway through the fourth quarter in his first AFL game.

Jack Sinclair (St Kilda) had the equal most disposals in a quarter this season, with 17, which was the same amount as Matthew Kennedy (Western Bulldogs).

It’s North Melbournes’ best start to a season in a decade and Richmonds’ worst start to a season in 16 years.

Paul Curtis (North Melbourne) kicked three of his six goals in the first quarter against Richmond.

Logan Morris (Brisbane Lions) played his 50th game. Lachie Neale played his 300th AFL game alongside his great mate Josh Dunkley who played his 200th AFL game.

Jordan Clark (Fremantle Dockers) played his 100th consecutive AFL game.

Highlights

Daniel McStay (Collingwood) kicked a good set shot from a tough angle outside 50 late in the third quarter against Carlton.

Nick Blakey (Sydney Swans) kicked a goal from about 75 metres midway through the fourth quarter.

Zach Merrett (Essendon) kicked a goal from a centre bounce in the second quarter, that made the deficit for them three points near half time against Gold Coast Suns.

Jed Walter (Gold Coast Suns) kicked a goal in mid-air late in the third quarter.

Mitch Lewis (Hawthorn) kicked a great set shot from a tough angle in the third quarter against Port Adelaide.

Taylor Walker (Adelaide Crows) kicked his fourth goal of the game, with a remarkable set shot, early in the third quarter against St Kilda. Shortly after Brayden Cook kicked a freakish goal.

Colby McKercher (North Melbourne) kicked an outstanding goal late in the third quarter against Richmond.

Brody Mihocek (Melbourne Demons) kicked goal from a set shot near the boundary line 50 metres out, in the third quarter against Brisbane Lions.

AFL Round 6 Review (Season 2025)

Average Score: 82.23 points per team, which is understandable, when taking into account four out of 18 teams scored 105 points or more.
Average Winning Margin: 29 points per game, which indicates there were relatively one-sided games. Despite that, five out of nine games had a margin of 11 points or less, which indicates that there were plenty of close games.

Richmond had an upset win over Gold Coast Suns by 11 points.

Easter Monday was a classic game with the Geelong Cats winning against Hawthorn by seven points.
