AFL Round 1 Review (Season 2023)

Average Score: 87 points per team, which is fairly low, when taking into account five out of 18 teams scored more than 100 points.
Average Winning Margin: 30 points per game, which indicates there were relatively one-sided games. Despite that, there was a draw and three other games with a winning margin of 15 points or less.
Round 1 (In a Nutshell): In Round 1 I correctly predicted the results in two out of nine matches. The Richmond v Carlton game was a draw so that counts as a correct prediction. Find out what transpired.

Average Winning Margin: 23.55 points per game, which indicates there weren’t many close games. Despite that only one game had a margin of more than 27 points!
