Since there are 11 teams in the A-League, which is an odd number of teams; obviously. Part 5 contains 3 teams instead of 2, unlike the other 4 parts. The 5th part of this topic analyses the Wellington Phoenix, Western Sydney Wanderers and Western United. As with the 1st 4 parts it was extremely difficult to narrow down the top 5 most important players for each team! There are differing reasons why a player can be an important part of the team; ranging from having limited players in that position on the bench to a player being skilful and a threat in the final third. A player that’s an important part in a team can range from a defensive midfielder to a regular goal scorer or even someone who has an impact on the game off the bench.
