My Top 5 Most Important Players for Each Team in the A-League 2019/20 Season (Part 5- As of March 23rd)

Since there are 11 teams in the A-League, which is an odd number of teams; obviously. Part 5 contains 3 teams instead of 2, unlike the other 4 parts. The 5th part of this topic analyses the Wellington Phoenix, Western Sydney Wanderers and Western United. As with the 1st 4 parts it was extremely difficult to narrow down the top 5 most important players for each team! There are differing reasons why a player can be an important part of the team; ranging from having limited players in that position on the bench to a player being skilful and a threat in the final third. The 4th part of this topic assesses the Perth Glory and Sydney FC. As with the 1st 3 parts of this exercise, it was interesting to decipher who the top 5 most important players from the 2 teams were. A player that’s an important part in a team can range from a defensive midfielder to a regular goal scorer or even someone who has an impact on the game off the bench. The 3rd part of this topic analyses the Melbourne Victory and Newcastle Jets. Like the 1st 2 parts of this exercise, it was fascinating to choose the top 5 most important players from the 2 teams!
