Brisbane Roar claimed an upset win against Sydney FC, in a seven-goal thriller.

There were a couple of goal of the season contenders; the first coming from Noah Botic of Western United with a cracking strike and the other one scored by Uruguayan Guillermo May from Auckland FC.
