Backs

Ed Richards has featured in every game in season 2022 for the Bulldogs. He is an underrated player.
Callum Wilkie of the Saints has been outstanding.
Brayden Maynard has featured in eight of ten games due to being suspended for two games. He is an integral part of the Magpies back six.

Half-backs

Daniel Rich has been outstanding for the Lions so far in season 2022.
Steven May of the Demons has arguably been their most important player.
Scott Pendlebury of the Magpies has been fantastic in season 2022.

Centres

Jordan Dawson of the Crows is a proven match winner as he kicked the winning goal against the Power after the siren in Round 3. He is also capable of playing on a half back flank.
Ben Keays has been prolific for the Crows.
Josh Kelly leads by example for the Giants.

Half-forwards

Errol Gulden has been an important part of the Swans team in season 2022.
Jeremy Cameron is a pivotal player for the Cats.
Zac Fisher is a player that has benefited from the astute coaching of Michael Voss.

Forwards

Bayley Fritsch has played every game for the Demons often hitting the scoreboard.
Lance Franklin of the Swans has been outstanding.
Marcus Bontempelli from the Bulldogs is an exceptional leader.

Followers

Jarrod Witts of the Suns has been one of the best ruckmen in the competition.
Tom Mitchell keeps on performing consistently for the Hawks.
Jack Crisp just keeps on playing good footy and going under the radar for the Magpies.

Interchange

Jack Macrae is one of the Bulldogs most important players.
Mabior Chol has kicked at least one goal in every game this season, for the Suns.
Karl Amon has been fairly consistent after Round 11 for the Power.
Tom Liberatore has had a decent first half of season 2022 for the Bulldogs.
