- Jayden Short should score higher than George Hewett given Bachar Houli retired.
- George Hewett place was taken by Lachie Whitfield.
- Lachie Whitfield is so consistent. He averaged nearly 100 points per game in the 2021 home and away season. That’s if you disregard the game where he was injured and had just three disposals.

- Ben Keays made way for Darcy Parish as Parish is captain of ‘pointers’ at this stage.
- Josh Daicos was replaced by Taylor Adams, given Adams will be playing in the midfield.
- Xavier Duursma should score much less than Brad Crouch.
- Angus Brayshaw spot was taken by Hugh Greenwood who is vice captain.
- Shane Edwards was replaced by Andrew McGrath who should be consistent in season 2022.

- No changes were made in the ruck at this stage.

- Tim Taranto had to be replaced by Mitch Lewis as Lewis should improve and Taranto is overpriced.
- Mitch Duncan spot was taken by Zac Fisher who should get more game time in season 2022 than he did in season 2021.
- Jack Graham position in the ‘pointers’ team was taken by Nick Larkey, as Larkey has plenty of potential.
- Zac Bailey had to be replaced by Charlie Curnow as Charlie Curnow was nearly half his Zac Bailey’s price. Expect Charlie Curnow to be prolific in season 2022.

- There were plenty of risks taken in the Preseason Probable team; exactly half of the ‘pointers’ starting team of 22 was changed from the previous team made in season 2022, preseason. That means 11 of 22 players were changed from the Predicted Team.
