AFL Round 9 Review (Season 2020)

Facts and Figures

Average Score: 65.61 points per team; Reasonably low scoring considering six teams kicked 83 points or more.
Average Winning Margins: 39.44 points per game, which indicates that there weren’t many close games.
Round 9 (In a Nutshell): There were only two games that had a margin separating the two teams involved of two goals or less. Incredibly, both of those games involved the West Australian teams. Despite the big margins, it was exciting to watch St Kilda and North Melbourne play some scintillating football. Find out why Round 9 was so intriguing!

Goals Scored: 33 goals= 3.3 goals per game.
Clean Sheets: None of the 20 teams that played kept a clean sheet!
Teams that Scored: 20 teams scored 33 goals, which is an average of 1.65 goals per team.
Draws: There was only one draw, between Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur
Matchweek 38 (In a Nutshell): In Matchweek 38 it was finality for every team, with four teams qualifying for the Champions League, one for the Europa League, one for the Europa League second qualifying round and three teams were relegated!
