The A-League is Back! (Week 3 Preview)

A-League Season 2019/20- (Week 3 of Restart)- My Preview

The A-League has been postponed, but its back, albeit in empty stadiums. It’s still great to have football back, in Australia! Melbourne City are the only team yet to have played since the A-League restart will do so in week 3 of the Restart against Sydney FC. It should be an exciting week of football, find out why!

My Choice of a definite winner for this period of time: Western Sydney v Wellington Phoenix (Wellington Phoenix)

Toughest game to pick a winner in: Adelaide United v Perth Glory (Perth Glory)

Monday Night Game

Central Coast Mariners v Western Sydney Wanderers
This promises to be a fairly tough game to predict a winner in; If the Mariners performance against the Newcastle Jets is anything to go by. The Wanderer should be extremely motivated to keep their hopes of a top six finish alive, but there may well be an upset in this game.
Central Coast Game Changer: Ziggy Gordon
Western Sydney Game Changer: Daniel Georgievski
My Prediction: Central Coast

Wednesday Night Game

Melbourne Victory v Brisbane Roar
Brisbane Roar’s hopes of featuring in the A-League Season 2019/20 final series go on the line in this must win clash against Melbourne Victory.
Melbourne Victory Game Changer: Adama Traore
Brisbane Roar Game Changer: Matthew Ridenton
My Prediction: Melbourne Victory

Thursday Night Game

Adelaide United v Perth Glory
Both of these teams are in need of a win as their hopes of finishing in the top six go on the line. This should be a cracking game between two teams that need three points, preferably.
Adelaide United Game Changer: Ryan Strain
Perth Glory Game Changer: Bruno Fornaroli
My Prediction: Perth Glory

Friday Night Game

Western Sydney Wanderers v Wellington Phoenix
The Western Sydney Wanderers will be looking to win against a tough opposition in Wellington Phoenix. Expect the Phoenix to be too good for Western Sydney
Western Sydney Wanderers Game Changer: Jordan O’Doherty
Wellington Phoenix Game Changer: Ben Waine
My Prediction: Wellington Phoenix

Saturday Evening Game

Melbourne City v Sydney FC
Melbourne City need to win this game as their hopes of a top two finish go on the line. Sydney FC can’t lose top spot mathematically, which means that they can and should experiment with different players in their squad. There’s no reason not to do so.
Melbourne City Game Changer: Jamie Maclaren
Sydney FC Game Changer: Luke Brattan
My Prediction: Sydney FC

Sunday Night Game

Newcastle Jets v Western United
Both teams will be looking to win this game to keep their top six hopes alive. Despite the fact that the Newcastle Jets face a near impossible task of making the finals they have improved and should demonstrate how much in this game.
Newcastle Jets Game Changer: Steven Ugarkovic
Western United Game Changer: Aaron Calver
My Prediction: Newcastle Jets
