Goals Scored: 11 goals in five games = 2.2 goals per game!
Clean Sheets: one out of the five games had at least one clean sheet in it, which equates to 20% of games!
Draws: There were two draws in five games.
A-League Restart- Week 2 (In a Nutshell): The football that was played was of a high standard in the five games that were played. There may have been a scoreless draw, but the football that was played was entertaining.

Facts and Figures: The game was played at a high tempo. The game ebbed and flowed with no one team controlling the balance of play.
Pivotal Moments: Roy O’Donovan had a shot brilliantly saved by Andrew Redmayne. Roy O’Donovan hit the post early in the second half. Nick Fitzgerald scored a freakish goal thanks to a superb cross from Matt Millar. Kosta Petratos scored an unbelievable match winner!

Facts and Figures: Wellington Phoenix made three changes at selection. They were more dangerous than Perth Glory in the final third.
Pivotal Moments: Gary Hooper opened the scoring thanks to a turnover from Perth Glory in the 32nd minute. Stefan Marinovic made a good save from a Bruno Fornaroli shot in the 37th minute. Ulises Davila scored a penalty in the 48th minute. Dane Ingham scored a freakish goal in the 62nd minute.

Facts and Figures: The game ebbed and flowed early on with neither team gaining the ascendancy. The Newcastle Jets weren’t clinical enough in the final third. Some credit has to go to the Central Coast Mariners, as they made it a tough, tight contest. It’s now virtually impossible for the Newcastle Jets to make the top six!
