The A-League has been postponed, but its back, albeit in empty stadiums. It’s still great to have football back, in Australia! All 3 Melbourne based teams won’t be playing until Saturday the 25th of July. This Saturday that game will be between Melbourne Victory and Western United. Week 2 of the Restart should be enthralling!
My Choice of a definite winner for this period of time: Central Coast Mariners v Newcastle Jets (Newcastle Jets)
Toughest game to pick a winner in: Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United (Adelaide United)

Sydney FC v Newcastle Jets
This should be a cracking of football. Both Steve Corica Coach of Sydney FC and Newcastle Jets Coach Carl Robinson like their teams to play attacking football.

Perth Glory v Wellington Phoenix
Both of these teams will be looking to further cement their place in the top 6.

Central Coast Mariners v Newcastle Jets
The Central Coast Mariners need to prove that they can play descent football. For the sake of their fans, they have to show more attacking flair than they have in the past. Newcastle Jets need to win this game to cling onto their slim hopes of making the finals in the A-League Season 2019/20. Expect this to be a one sided contest, unfortunately.

Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United
This should be the most entertaining game of week 2 of the A-League Restart. Both teams will want all 3 points to solidify their spot in the top 6. The A-League is a tightly fought league. It should continue to be unpredictable and hopefully what will result from that is attacking, open football.

Melbourne Victory need a miracle to make the top 6 and feature in the final series in A-League Season 2019/20. This is a potential danger game for Western United, as their position in the top 6 isn’t quite assured, as it stands.
