Brad Sheppard was outstanding for the Eagles in the Derby; Sheppard was a part of a defence that only conceded 2 goals to the Dockers. Tom Clurey helped curtail the influence of the Crows forward line and accumulated a lot of the ball. Jack Crisp was probably the Magpies best player against the Hawks. James Sicily was best on ground in the Hawks game against the Magpies. Adam Saad provided plenty of run out of defence for the Bombers.
Lincoln Mccarthy was brilliant for the Lions, while Robbie Gray and Jamie Cripps were outstanding for their respective teams in Round 16.
Kane Lambert was an important part of the Tigers obliterating the Suns. Josh Bruce was probably the best centre half forward in the competition in Round 16 kicking 6 goals. Brad Ebert was terrific for the Power in the showdown. Aaron Naughton was fantastic for the Bulldogs; Naughton provided a target for players up the field and kicked 4 goals. Tom Mcdonald finished with 6 goals, while Cameron Zurhaar was fantastic for the Eagles, kicking 4 goals.
Todd Goldstein was outstanding for the Kangaroos. Dylan Shiel put in a solid display in Round 16. Jack Macrae was prolific for the Bulldogs in Round 16.
Jason Castagna kicked 5 goals for the Tigers. Jarman Impey performed admirably in Round 16. Marcus Bontempelli won plenty of the ball at important times in the game and Jarrod Cameron kicked some important goals for the Eagles.
