AFL- Round Six Preview

Preview- Round Six 2018 (AFL)

Round Six should be unpredictable; it’s a tough Round to tip. It starts with two clubs who need the four points on offer; the Bulldogs need to bounce back from a disappointing performance against the Dockers and The Blues need to keep up their improved performance from last week. There is a derby in the West. The game of the Round is the Magpies against the Tigers, with both sides in superb form. Hopefully Round Six is full of tight and tough matches.

Bulldogs v Blues Preview

Neither team can afford to lose this contest; it is a classic eight point game.

Bulldogs Game Changer:  Mitch Wallis

Blues Game Changer: Charlie Curnow

My Prediction: Bulldogs

Cats v Swans Preview

The Cats will be without Gary Ablett and Daniel Menzel, while the Swans enter the game without Lance Franklin and Daniel Hannebery. This should be an exciting game for the neutral.

Cats Game Changers: Sam Menegola

Swans Game Changer: Luke Parker

My Prediction: Cats

Kangaroos v Power Preview

The Kangaroos have been terrific in the last two weeks, while the Power have been thoroughly disappointing. The Power continue to play without a genuine ruckman, choosing Dougal Howard to be their number one ruckman. It’s an important game for both teams, with them looking to build momentum.

Kangaroos Game Changer: Todd Goldstein

Power Game Changer: Justin Westhoff

My Prediction: Kangaroos

Giants v Lions Preview

The Giants are without Tom Scully, Josh Kelly, Toby Greene and Rory Lobb. The Lions have chosen to rest Luke Hodge, which is a sensible decision that ensures he gets through the Season. The Lions are trying to build long term success, while the Giants are searching for success this year.

Giants Game Changer: Adam Tomlinson

Lions Game Changer: Alex Witherden

My Prediction: Giants

Hawks v Saints Preview

The Hawks got annihilated by the Kangaroos last week, while the Saints performed admirably, salvaging a draw against the Giants. This game could go either way.

Hawks Game Changer: Ricky Henderson

Saints Game Changer: Jack Steven

My Prediction: Saints

Crows v Suns Preview

The Crows had a morale lifting win against the Swans last time around. The Suns are three wins and two losses, without playing their best footy. This contest is a fascinating one.

Crows Game Changer: Richard Douglas

Suns Game Changer: Jarrod Witts

My Prediction: Suns

Bombers v Demons Preview

These teams need to fight back from a heavy loss. The short turn around should be tough for both to manage. Both sides need to regain momentum and give themselves a glimmer of hope when it comes to participating in the final series.

Bombers Game Changer: Matthew Leuenberger

Demons Game Changer: Jesse Hogan

My Prediction: Bombers

Magpies v Tigers Preview

Magpies and Tigers are coming off comprehensive wins. The team that manages the short break should collect the four points on offer.

Magpies Game Changer: Matthew Scharenberg

Tigers Game Changer: Toby Nankervis

My Prediction: Magpies

Dockers v Eagles Preview

The Dockers have won three games, while the Eagles have won four. The Eagles have probably been the surprise team in the competition this Season.

Dockers Game Changer: Nat Fyfe

Eagles Game Changer: Scott Lycett

My Prediction: Eagles
